We knew Rachel and Casper because we were Rachel’s sister’s photographers years ago for her engagement session and wedding. They reached out to us when it was their turn to tie the knot. We were incredibly flattered that she loved her sister’s wedding photos so much! Rachel grew up going to Longwood Gardens, so it was a perfect opportunity to have the engagement session with Casper at such a meaningful location.
Since it was late November, the entire garden was decorated for the holidays. We had a lot of fun capturing the couple doing cute and romantic things that couples normally don’t do in public! It always feels awkward at first, but we always make it look natural and so much fun. The couple also gets used to our directions and the wedding day portraits become that much easier because they trust us now. We love starting the session late in the day so that we can capture the evening with the holiday lights. We absolutely enjoyed Rachel and Casper’s company and cannot wait to spend many more hours with them on their special day!
