We love having fun with our couples, and this session was especially fun for three reasons: first, it was one of our first love story video shoots. Secondly, it was our first time collaborating with Unique Blooms Floral Design. Lastly, we create a moldboard and set creative direction that the couple followed. It went so much better than we even anticipated!
We’ve always loved the architecture of the city and while speaking about it Olha shared that she worked right around the corner from the Alwyn, also known as Petrossian building which is a beautiful abandoned apartment building build in the early 1900’s. We couldn’t resist making this the starting point of our sunrise session on Memorial day. The city was quiet, perfectly peaceful, and quite unlike the usual bustle. It was absolutely perfect for our session. Luckily for us Olha had access to her workplace terrace with an overlook of central park and more NYC architecture. The dress, the suit and the flowers all worked together so cohesively here. Tony shot video while I focused solely on photos and the results worked out beautifully.
Enjoy the early morning with Olha and Taras.
