We took engagement photos of Emily and Sean at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. The weather and lighting that day was so perfect after days of torrential Spring rain, we got to shoot all over the sculpture garden with beautiful natural lighting. Sometimes you meet a couple who’s chemistry with each other is so vibrant that we don’t need to direct as much as we usually do and just let them be themselves as we snap away. Our job at that moment is just to dictate which location we want them to, and which angle towards the sun to best light them. Grounds for Sculpture is also a great location because it does not require a photo permit, and it’s an open space with very few people passing by. The lack of crowds not only helps us get clean photos of the couple, but it also helps alleviate any potential shy or nervous feelings showing public displays of affection! Seeing Emily and Sean just laughing at everything through our session lets us know we will get the same vibe on their wedding day. We will get to document pure bliss between the two love birds on their wedding day and we cannot wait to see them again!
